Abstract Submissions
To submit your abstract, please follow the instructions using the provided template and guideline here.
Submissions are welcomed from all VIC Members, however, to be eligible for a prize, the submitting author must be a current TSANZ Member. If a non-member wins the award, the cost of membership will be deducted from the prize money and go towards a 2027 TSANZ Membership.
All Abstract presenters will need to be registered to attend the meeting and present. You will be notified if your Abstract Submission has been accepted for presentation.
Registration Fees
- TSANZ Members - $51
- Student/Concession Members - $34
- Non-Members - $123
Registration fees are in AUD and are inclusive of GST.

Please ensure that any dietary requirements are noted in the registration form as a matter of importance. Dietary requirements that are not specified prior to the event will not be catered for.
Registrations and notice of dietary requirements are essential. Registration will close on Monday 16 November 2025.

TSANZ events involve confirmed venue and catering commitments based on registration numbers. If you are no longer able to attend, we kindly ask that you notify us as early as possible. Late cancellations and non-attendance without notice can significantly impact event planning. Repeated non-attendance without prior notice may be taken into consideration for future event registrations.
Parking
The car park is located across the road from Sheraton Hotel, at 34-60 Little Collins Street - Parkade - First Parking. The Flat rate is charged at $26.00 during the week. Please pay directly at the Car Park Pay Station.
Code of Conduct
Attendees are required to adhere to the TSANZ Code of Conduct at all TSANZ meetings and events.
Event Cancellation
If you register to attend the meeting and are no longer able to attend, please let us know as soon as possible by emailing TSANZevents@thoracic.org.au.
TSANZ will not refund registration fees for cancellations, unless there are exceptional circumstances. Refund of registration fees will incur an administrative fee of $50.00 (inclusive GST), which will be deducted before registration fees are refunded.
Attendee Criteria
Please note that attendance at this event is not open to the general public or consumers. Employees of pharmaceutical, medical technology, or medical device companies—as well as individuals employed by organisations with a commercial, service-based, or charitable interest in respiratory or sleep health (such as charities, law firms, consultancies, or training providers)—may only attend if their organisation is an official event sponsor or they have received explicit approval from TSANZ Head Office. This aligns with the TSANZ Partner Member category, which outlines that Partner Members are not eligible to attend Branch or TSANZ-sponsored events unless explicitly permitted. If you are unsure about your eligibility or would like to discuss sponsorship options, please contact us at TSANZevents@thoracic.org.au.
