This event is intended for doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, scientists and allied health professionals who are in the trainee phase of their career.
Speakers
Dr. Jenny (Wai) Yiu
presenting on 'Management of pneumothoraces and blood patches'
Dr Jenny Yiu is a Respiratory and Sleep Physician with an interest in pleural medicine. She completed her training through Northern Health, Royal Hobart Hospital and Monash Health. She is currently undertaking a PhD in spontaneous pneumothorax. She runs a regular pleural clinic at Monash Health and consults privately at Jesse McPherson Private Hospital and Chest and Sleep.
Dr. Suzy Guo
presenting on 'Malignant and non-malignant pleural effusion management'
Dr. Suzy Guo is a Respiratory and Sleep Physician with subspecialty expertise in Pleural Medicine. She graduated from the University of Melbourne and completed her physician training through the Royal Melbourne Hospital, before attaining Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP). She subsequently completed a clinical fellowship in Interventional Pleural Medicine at the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford, United Kingdom. Dr Guo consults privately at Epworth Eastern and is the Pleural Lead at The Alfred Hospital.

This aligns with the TSANZ Partner Member category, which outlines that Partner Members are not eligible to attend Branch or TSANZ-sponsored events unless explicitly permitted.
