Abstract Submissions

Deadline: 11:59pm (AWST) Sunday October 18, 2026

To submit your abstract, please follow the instructions using the provided template and guideline below:

Submissions are welcomed from all WA Members, however, to be eligible for a prize, the submitting author must be a current TSANZ Member. If a non-member wins the award, the cost of membership will be deducted from the prize money and go towards a 2027 TSANZ Membership.

All submissions must follow the outlined instructions and be submitted to TSANZ Events at TSANZevents@thoracic.org.au by 11:59pm (AWST) Sunday 18 October, 2026.

All Abstract presenters will need to be registered to attend the meeting and present. You will be notified if your Abstract Submission has been accepted for presentation.

TSANZ Members Earning <$125k / Associate Members - Free
Students - Free
Non-Members - $123

Registration fees are in AUD and are inclusive of GST.

Registrations and notice of dietary requirements are essential. Registration will close on Wednesday 18 November 2026.

If you are no longer able to attend, we kindly ask that you notify us as early as possible. Late cancellations and non-attendance without notice can significantly impact event planning. Repeated non-attendance without prior notice may be taken into consideration for future event registrations.

Please note that attendance at this event is not open to the general public or consumers. Employees of pharmaceutical, medical technology, or medical device companies—as well as individuals employed by organisations with a commercial, service-based, or charitable interest in respiratory or sleep health (such as charities, law firms, consultancies, or training providers)—may only attend if their organisation is an official event sponsor or they have received explicit approval from TSANZ Head Office. This aligns with the TSANZ Partner Member category, which outlines that Partner Members are not eligible to attend Branch or TSANZ-sponsored events unless explicitly permitted. If you are unsure about your eligibility or would like to discuss sponsorship options, please contact us at TSANZevents@thoracic.org.au.
